The new art book by artist, D. Lammie-Hanson called "Painting the Individual Psyche" is now on Amazon.com.

It was a labor of love and 20 years worth of art work to make this book become a reality.

"Painting the Individual Psyche" was a way of sharing the human experience (mostly women) one person at a time. Each piece of work is an emotional portrait and an image any person can identify with.  It is Lammie's personal study of the human psyche of the past 20 years turned into imagery of passion and life starting with a painting of "Sad Lisa" painting in 1990. Also in this book is a chapter dedicated to the Black male, their unique psyche, experience and existence. This chapter was inspired the moment the 44th US President, Barack Obama was sworn into the presidency.

Please feel free to get it for your arts library or that very very lonely coffee table that needs some culture. Its a feel good good art and story telling book with over 80 plus images of art and the interesting stories that inspired their creation.

In the introduction and the foreword were written by D. Lammie-Hanson with the help from personal friends who are amazing independent writers, poets, performers, counselors, producers and great souls such as K. Neycha Herford, Andrea Toochin, Peter Hempstead, Shari Jackson and Lynda Peterson.

You will definitely feel the passion and the fight for life and art through this wonderful literary experience.
