Regional Deadline: May 15, 2008 - Seeking submissions from Canadian printmakers for "Pipelines and Borderlines", a tri-national curated print portfolio.

What is a print portfolio? It is a collaborative effort of printmakers, with each printing an edition of a specified size, about a common theme. All these editions are then collated into portfolios containing one print from each artist. These are then distributed, with each participating artist generally receiving one portfolio each, which they can keep, exhibit or sell. In this case additional portfolios are also exhibited and will travel to other venues in Mexico, the U.S., and Canada.

'Pipelines and Borderlines' is comprised of artists from Mexico, the U.S., and Canada. The theme addresses "under the radar" initiatives taken by multi-national corporations and the executive branches of these three countries that impact all citizens as well as local and the global environments.
