Opportunity Description

International Deadline: May 31, 2017 – The Center for Fine Art Photography announces an international call for photographers for its Small Works Exhibition exhibition.

We love small presentations that become coveted art objects. All works chosen for this exhibition, must be presented at 12 inches or less. All genres, subjects, capture types and photographic processes both historic and modern as well as mixed media and unique presentations are eligible for selection by the juror, Kat Kiernan.

Our calls for entry are open to all photographers world wide, both amateur and professional. The Center invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate.

JUROR | Kat Kiernan
Kat Kiernan is the Editor-in-Chief of the photography publication Don’t Take Pictures. Kiernan’s writing has been published in many books and publications including Art New England Online, Feature Shoot, Big, Red, and Shiny, and Lenscratch. Artists selected for exhibition by our Juror are invited to attend the Artist Immersion Weekend. The Immersion Weekends include a Public Reception followed by a dinner on the town, a Private Portfolio Review with Hamidah Glasgow, Artist Group Lunch and a Portfolio Share with Professional Development Discussion. All selected artists are included in the Main Gallery Exhibition and Online Gallery seen by an international audience.

Center Award: $400
Forward Award: $200
Honorable Mention Awards: 1-year membership and submission to a Call for Entry.

In addition artists’ selected for the exhibition will also receive:

  1. Promotion on The Center’s large social media platforms.
  2. Professional installation images for your use.
  3. In-gallery and online exhibition with links to artists’ websites
  4. Press releases are sent to artists’ choice of media outlets.

Members | $29 for the three images.
Non-members | $36 for the first three images.
Additional images may be submitted for $9 each for members and $10 each for non-members. There is no limit to the number of images that may be submitted.
