Opportunity Description
International Deadline: April 15, 2023 – The art that is created today is how this time period will be viewed tomorrow. We want to make a difference in the lives of artists as well as a positive change in the world.
We are an online art gallery that can offer different benefits than a physical art gallery.
We offer international exposure; works will be archived and can be viewed over and over, giving you constant exposure and building traffic to your website; there is no cost in transporting artwork and no risk of your work being damaged; and we are a commission free gallery! Each month has a different themed juried art show.
This month’s opportunity:
YELLOW
Deadline: April 15, 2023
“Yellow” This primary color is often associated with happiness, spontaneity, amusement, gentleness, but also with envy, jealousy, and cowardice. In Iran it has connotations of sickness, but also wisdom. Yellow symbolizes many things and has different meanings in different cultures. We would like to see your interpretation of this color.
ELIGIBILITY
All artists 18 and over may enter.
JUDGING CRITERIA
Originality, interpretation, quality, demonstration of ability, and usage of medium
JUROR: Janelle Cogan
AWARDS
Cash award will be given to the Best of Show winner. Additionally, the Best of Show winner will be featured. His or her artwork will be on the cover of the show and it will be largely displayed with an article about them and their work. Other winners will be featured and have similar recognition. All accepted works will be displayed with the artist name, title of work, and a link back to their website, or email address if they do not have a website.
ENTRY FEE
$18 for 1 or 2 pieces (You may enter more than once if you have additional works.)
We will be donating 10% of all entry fees from this show to Soles4Souls. Soles4Souls creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world. Colors of Humanity Art Gallery was created to help artists gain exposure and further their careers. With our monthly online juried art shows, artists can gain experience in competitions, increase much needed international exposure and recognition, boost their resumes, and have an opportunity to win prize money.
