Competitions Someone/Someplace: Figures, Portraits & Landscapes

International Deadline: July 12, 2017 – Western Bureau Arts Silicon Valley is seeking art that explores faces, figures, and landscapes for an upcoming group exhibition to be held August 8-31, 2017 at our gallery in downtown San Jose, California.
The show will explore the interactions we have with each other and our environments: urban and rural, alone and together, real and imagined.
Selected pieces will be exhibited alongside works from the Western Bureau’s Permanent Collection, including mid-century paintings by John Haley, Jacob Semiatin, Edward Hagedorn, Robert Gilberg, and others.
This call for art is open to living artists worldwide, both professional and amateur. All styles and mediums will be considered, including representational, abstract, and conceptual works.
