International Deadline: August 15, 2018 – Located in the heart of the famous Chelsea art district, Agora Gallery announces a call for artists worldwide for its ‘Latin American Contemporary Fine Art Competition’.
This year’s Latin American Contemporary Fine Art Competition awards offer participating artists a wide range of opportunities and prizes specifically chosen to promote the selected Latin American artists and enhance their careers. The Competition is an opportunity qualifying artists shouldn’t miss.
The competition is open for Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Latin American diaspora from around the world at any stage of their careers. Artists are invited to submit in any of the following mediums: painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, mixed media, and print.

Art submitted to the competition will be reviewed by a rotating panel of expert jurors, each representing a different field in the art world, ensuring a fair and balanced selection process.

Twenty five (25) artists will be selected to exhibit in the collective exhibition, which will take place at Agora Gallery. Five (5) artists will be awarded a cash prize of $500 each. One (1) artist will be awarded with the participation in an Art Fair sponsored by FAI – Fine Art Initiatives… more
The 2018 Competition Exhibition is scheduled to take place at the street-level space of Agora Gallery at 530 West 25th Street, Chelsea, NYC, from December 5 to December 15, 2018. Elegant yet welcoming, the gallery offers 4,000 square feet and features 13 to 18 foot ceilings, a skylight viewing area, and wide windows facing the street.
There is a $45 entry fee for up to 5 images ($5 for each additional image).

Results will be emailed to all participating artists Sept 13th, 2018.
The gallery’s commission structure is 50/50: the artist receives 50% of the list/retail price, and the gallery receives 50% of the list/retail price. In addition, 15% of Agora Gallery proceeds from the sale of artwork from the competition exhibition go to a charitable organization.
