Call for Submissions Manifest Season 16: Call for Solo, Group & Concept Proposals
NOTE: This opp listing has expired and may no longer be relevant!
International Deadline: June 14, 2019 – Manifest Creative Research Gallery is now accepting proposals of various types for our upcoming 16th exhibition season. Solo exhibits, two person exhibits, and group shows will be considered. Anyone can submit a proposal, and selections are open to all traditional and non-traditional genre and media.
JURY & CURATOR
Manifest’s selection process involves a complex two-part system. This exhibit will be juried by an anonymous several member panel of professional and academic advisors with a broad range of expertise relative to art and design. The jury will then pass along their recommendations to the exhibit curator who will design the exhibit from the jury-approved pool.
ANNUAL CASH AWARD
The annual Manifest Grand Jury Prize will result in the awarding of one significant cash prize ($2500) to a single work selected as the ‘best of the entire season’. Winner will be determined by a final end-of-year jury from among a pool of all top-scoring works from each exhibit’s jury process across the current exhibition season.
Manifest Press will produce a high quality hard-cover publication documenting each entire season of exhibits, artists, and works shown.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a $50 non-refundable submission fee. Number of works is not limited.
No notifications are made until the final season schedule is decided (usually by the end of July), but updates are sent to all artists at the start of our committee’s review process.
All work, unless indicated as not for sale (NFS), will be available for sale during exhibit. Manifest Gallery will retain a commission of 30% on all artwork sold during the exhibition.
