Royal Photographic Society

Founded in January 1853 The Royal Photographic Society has, throughout its history, played an important role in photography. The Society is an educational charity promoting both the art and science of photography and aims to help individuals realize their potential as photographers. The Society’s Collection is one of the world’s great photography collections. It, along with its archive and library is held for the nation at the National Media Museum in Bradford, UK.
