International Deadline: May 1, 2017 – The California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks’ announces its inaugural juried art exhibition, on display June 15 – August 5, 2017.

The museum is using its 32 degrees N. latitude location to signify its physical starting place for the inception of what is hoped to be an annual summer exhibition. CMATO invites artists to submit works that considers landscapes in various contexts. Traditional and unconventional interpretations of landscapes are encouraged.

The goal of the Open Call program is to provide an avenue for artists to reach new audiences through the support of a curated museum exhibition.
