International Deadline: January 17, 2017 – Perspective Gallery is pleased to announce our seventh annual juried exhibition of photography, LENS 2017.

Photographers worldwide are invited to submit work for possible inclusion in the exhibition. All subject matter and photographic processes are welcome.

Juror’s Award: $300
1st runner-up: $200
2nd runner-up: $150


Stephen Daiter is the executive director of Stephen Daiter Gallery. He has been a full-time dealer in photography and photography books since 1991. He has been a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America for over 25 years and a member of the Association of International Photography Arts Dealers (AIPAD) for 20 years.

Lucas Zenk been with the Stephen Daiter Gallery since 2006 and has served as the gallery director for the past five years. He attended the New England School of Photography in Boston. He was a cultural department intern at Magnum Photos in New York which introduced him to the commercial and gallery aspects of the medium.

Stephen Daiter Gallery offers fine and vintage examples of important classic American and European photography from the 20th century. Areas of specialization include the avant-garde, experimental, and documentary. The gallery has produced over 50 books and catalogs on photography. The gallery has also exhibited regularly at AIPAD, Art Basel, Paris Photo and Art/Expo Chicago.

The fee for submitting up to five (5) images is $40. The fee is non-refundable.

Visit us for complete details and easy online application. Artists are invited to submit up to five (5) photographic images in JPEG form. Images must have been created within the past five years.

All accepted work must be framed in a professional manner with hanging wire (no sawtooth hangers). See Prospectus for details

Work must arrive by February 20th.

Artists shipping artwork must use UPS or FedEx. Perspective Gallery will not be responsible for damage occurring during shipment to or from the gallery. Work must be framed using plexiglass, not glass. See Prospectus for details

Perspective Gallery will receive a 40% commission on any artwork sold during the exhibition. Artists will receive 60% of the sales price of any work sold.

Insurance of artwork during transit to and from the gallery is the responsibility of the artist The gallery will insure all works against theft, damage, and destruction while they are at the gallery.

Show opens: March 2, 2017
Opening reception and awards: March 4, 2017
Show closes: March 26, 2017
Pickup of hand-delivered work: March 26 – March 27, 2017
Return shipment of work: March 19, 2017


Perspective Group and Photography Gallery is a not-for-profit, community-oriented cooperative whose purpose is to promote photography as fine art. In addition to ongoing group and featured artists exhibitions, the gallery features a Guest Speaker series, monthly featured artist talks, and sponsors an annual, international, juried photography exhibition, as well as an annual high school students show.
