Opportunity Description

International Deadline: February 25, 2020 – CENTER, founded in 1994, honors, supports, and provides opportunities to gifted and committed photographers.

The annual programs are designed to bring exposure to worthy photographic projects and series, and create fellowship among photographers and influential members of the photographic community.

ELIGIBILITY
All of CENTER’s Call for Entry opportunities accept submissions from international photographers and artists. Work can have been made at any time and work that has been submitted previously may be re-submitted as we have new jurors each year. Work derived from all photographic processes is accepted, as well as mixed media that is photo-based. ONLY the Multimedia Award accepts video, multimedia files and/or still images for submission.

CURRENT GRANTS

1] $5K PROJECT DEVELOPMENT GRANT
Supports fine art or documentary projects that are still in progress and have been minimally not been widely exhibited or published.

2] $5K PROJECT LAUNCH GRANT
Supports a complete fine art, documentary, or photojournalistic project to successfully reach wider audiences.

3] $5K ME&EVE AWARD
CENTER is pleased to offer the me&EVE Award in its second year. This $5,000 award is for a female-identified photographer, 40 years of age and over, who uses their camera to address social justice.

AWARD PACKAGE
$5,000 financial support Winners Exhibition Complimentary Tuition for Review Santa Fe Presentation at Review Santa Fe.

Must be awarded to a female-identified or non-binary photographer, 40 years of age and over, who uses their camera to address social justice.

$30 members/ $40 non-members

4] EXCELLENCE IN MULTIMEDIA AWARD
Supports a project that utilizes photography, video, installation, or other elements that expand on traditional methods of displaying and experiencing photography.

5] THE CHOICE AWARDS
Recognize outstanding photographers working in all processes and subject matter. Images can be singular or part of a series. Divided into three categories: Curator’s Choice, Director’s Choice, and Editor’s Choice.

6] REVIEW SANTA FE PHOTO FESTIVAL
CENTER’s premier juried portfolio review event is a weekend conference and festival for photographers who have created a project or series and are seeking audience expansion, critical issues, and community connection in the profoundly unique sense of place, Santa Fe, NM.

EVENT DATES: October 15 – 18, 2020
