Compete First Street Gallery 2022 National Juried Exhibition
U.S. National Deadline: March 31, 2022 – First Street Gallery announces an exhibition opportunity, “2022 National Juried Exhibition”.
On display June 23 – July 16, 2022 in our Chelsea Gallery located at 526 West 26th Street Suite 209, New York, NY 10001.
Open to U.S. resident artists at least 18 yrs. old. Eligible works include original oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, prints, photography, mixed media, assemblage and sculpture in any medium. No giclées or similar reproductions… see size & weight limits.
Clintel Steed lives and works in New York City and a small monastery in a discreet location on sacred land in upstate New York. Steed earned his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he received praise and accolades for his vigorous and inexhaustible pursuit of painting. Steed earned his MFA from Indiana University. There, his work blossomed. Immediately afterwards, Steed moved to Harlem to continue his life’s work of painting. While working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Steed pursued and completed a degree in Advanced Studies at the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture. Steed’s work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions worldwide. Steed’s work is held in both private and public collections in the United States. The fee is $40 for 1–3 works, $5 for each additional work, up to 6 works total. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Work accepted into the show may be refused if it does not conform to the entered image or exceeds size or weight limits. Absolutely NO substitutions of accepted works. Accepted work must remain in the gallery for duration of the show.
The gallery will take NO commission on sales. Work not for sale must be marked “N.F.S.” No P.O.R. sales.

First Street Gallery’ is a nonprofit contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Chelsea, steps from the High Line. We offer two exhibition spaces on the second floor of a prominent Gallery building.
