Art Calls Lucent: The Art of Light
Opportunity Description
U.S. National Deadline: June 15, 2026 – Artlink is now accepting submissions for our juried exhibition Lucent: The Art of Light. This exhibition is open to light-focused works of all media and can be interpreted broadly—from work that depicts light, to work which emits light itself.
Light reveals everything we see in this world. It shapes our reality, and affects our entire being. In this exhibition we don’t just want to use light to reveal artwork, we want the artworks to reveal light. Whether symbolically, metaphorically, or literally.
The exhibition will take place July 30 – August 23, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
All mediums are eligible and any artist 18+ residing in the United States.
All light-focused works are eligible. All media are welcome, include but not limited to: painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, fiber, video, ceramic, metals, neon, collage, mixed media, installation and printmaking.
All works must be ready for installation upon delivery and professionally presented (not damaged or differing from what was accepted). Wall-hung artwork must be ready to hang with wire. No saw-tooth hangers. If your work requires special installation instructions, please contact ellen@artlinkfw.org prior to the submission deadline. Identification labels with artist name and title should be attached to the back of the work.
