Opportunity Description

U.S. Multi-State Deadline: November 9, 2026 – Held annually, Artlink’s Midwest Regional is a juried group exhibition which celebrates the incredible and diverse work being created in America’s Midwest! Any artist 18+ years of age residing in one of the Midwest states is eligible to enter. Three cash awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place artworks selected by the juror, Dennis Wojtkiewicz. Eligible states include: Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.

The exhibition will run Jan 7 – Feb 7, 2027 with an opening reception on Thursday, Jan 7 from 5-8PM.

ELIGIBILITY
Artists must be 18+ years of age and reside within the Midwest states including Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.

Artwork must have been created within the last five years and not have been previously exhibited at Artlink. Artwork must be original, reproductions will not be accepted.

JUROR
Dennis Wojtkiewicz [voit-KEV-itch] is Professor Emeritus at Bowling Green State University, where he taught painting and drawing in the School of Art beginning in 1988. He received his B.A. and M.F.A. degrees in Drawing and Painting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and studied at the Atelier Neo-Medici in France under Patrick Betaudier in 1978 and 1983. His work has been exhibited extensively in the United States and internationally, including exhibitions at the Butler Institute of American Art, Toledo Museum of Art, Illinois State Museum, and Springfield Museum of Art. Since 2005, his paintings have also been presented at international art fairs in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Palm Beach, Santa Fe, Toronto, and elsewhere.

$12 per entry, up to 10 entries.

SALES
All artwork sales are subject to a 35% sales fee. Artists will be mailed a check for sold work following the close of the exhibition.
