Opportunity Description
U.S. National Deadline: June 30, 2022 – This Carlisle Arts Learning Center exhibit is intended to highlight the connection between contemporary textile art and the traditional methods and materials from which they evolved.
ELIGIBILITY
Work from either genre, traditional or contemporary, will be considered however the work must be an original design, executed by the artist within the last 5 years. Mixed media works will be considered at the discretion of the jurors, if fiber or fiber techniques are the main component of the piece.
- Works must fit through a door and be suitable to hang on a standard gallery system.
- Appropriate rods, supports, and hangers must be attached to or included with delivery.
- 3 dimensional or standing works must be stable to display on a 16” or 24” pedestal top.
- Other installation needs must be noted. Artists may be asked to install complicated works.
All works remain on display until the close of the exhibit. Entry based on images submitted. No substitutions permitted.
ENTRY FEE
$30 nonmember, $20 member.
Notification of Acceptance: July 30, 2022
DELIVERY
Delivery of artwork between September 10 and 17, 2022 during regular gallery hours. All shipped work must contain a prepaid return shipping label.
SALES
All works must be for sale. CALC retains 35% commission.
