About:
Brooklyn to Gangnam is a print-magazine for visual art and literature, based in the NYC/NJ area. Founded by Chunbum Park (Editor-in-chief, Visual) and Albert Abdul-Barr Wang (Editor-in-Chief, Literary) and in association with Roundcube Contemporary, a gallery based in NYC with Julie Jang as its director. The magazine strives to not only serve as a cross-cultural bridge between the US and Korea (as the names “Brooklyn” and “Gangnam” point to) but to also give voice to the underrepresented yet promising artists and writers who might not have access to a wider platform to express their creativity and gain visibility.
