Art Calls Roy G Biv Gallery 2027 Exhibition Season
Opportunity Description
International Deadline: September 25, 2026 – ROY G BIV Gallery for Emerging Artists invites art submissions for its 2027 exhibition season.
ROY’s regular exhibition calendar is organized from an annual juried process that begins with a call for entries (CFE), asking emerging artists to submit their work for consideration. The CFE submission pool is reviewed and voted upon by a panel of jurors representing the contemporary arts community.
We welcome submissions from artists both local and global. Selected artists will be featured in a month-long small group exhibition during the 2027 calendar year, curated by the gallery director.
ROY defines emerging artists as those that:
- Are early in their careers
- Have a focused direction and goals while developing their artistic voice
- Have yet to be substantially celebrated within their field, the media, funding circles, or the public at large
- Are not represented by a gallery
- Have not exhibited at ROY (with the exception of ImageOHIO and the annual smallworks member show)
JURORS
- Dana Lynn Harper (she/her) holds a BFA in Art & Technology from The Ohio State University and an MFA in Sculpture from Penn State University, where she was awarded the Bunton Waller Fellowship.
- Yusef Ferguson is an American filmmaker, visual artist, educator, and learner. Yusef is a recipient of the 2025 Greater Columbus Arts Council Visual Arts Fellowship.
