Compete Chianciano Biennale 2026

Chianciano Art Museum Tuscany, Italy

Chianciano Biennale

Opportunity Description

International Deadline: May 31, 2026 – The Chianciano Biennale invites artists worldwide to apply for its 2026 edition, taking place 15–29 August in the heart of Tuscany.

Open to all disciplines — painting, sculpture, digital, installation, and more — this international exhibition will showcase around 200 artists selected by a professional jury across the Chianciano Art Museum and 13 historic galleries.

ELIGIBILITY
There are no submission requirements for the Chianciano Biennale, the applications are open to all living artists without discrimination and wholly on the basis of the artwork itself. Great art has never been limited to established powers, therefore our application process is the same- no requirements, just submit the artwork you feel best represents you.

The selection process is rigorous and allows critics and collectors to admire works of excellent quality both in the Art Museum and in the Clancianum Galleries, where contemporary art creates a magnificent contrast with the historic architecture of the medieval town.

AWARDS
Your artistic journey doesn’t end with the exhibition. The Chianciano Art Biennale offers numerous awards. Additionally, winning artists receive the coveted recognition of automatic approval for the prestigious London Art Biennale 2027, our sister exhibition.
