Art Calls 15th Annual National Juried Exhibition

Opportunity Description
U.S. National Deadline: October 25, 2025 – Marshall University’s School of Art & Design is pleased to invite artists to submit entries for the 15th Annual National Juried Exhibition. Accepted works will be exhibited at the Charles W. and Norma C. Carroll Gallery located in the Visual Arts Center in Huntington, West Virginia, from January 5 to February 5, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the exhibition, artists must be 18 years of age or older and must maintain a permanent residence in the U.S. Exceptions are made for students and military personnel with U.S. resident status. Artwork previously displayed in Marshall University’s art galleries will not be considered.
JUROR
This year’s juror is Erika B. Hess, a painter, Artistic Director of Visual Arts at Chautauqua Institution and creator of the art podcast – I Like Your Work. Hess’s work has been exhibited nationally, including NYC, Brooklyn, Detroit, L.A., Boston, and Philadelphia. She maintains an active studio practice in Columbus, OH, and in Long Island City in New York. Hess received her MFA from Boston University.
ENTRY FEE
Artists may enter up to three artworks. The entry fee is $30 for the general public. For current Marshall University students with ID, the entry fee is $15 for up to three entries.
