Compete Tartget Prize International Painting Contest
Opportunity Description
International Deadline: February 15, 2026 -The second edition of the TARTGET PAINTING PRIZE is now open. This international contemporary painting competition, renowned for its rapid growth and substantial prize fund, returns in 2026 consolidated as a leading cultural platform for artists worldwide. This year’s edition has an increased global prize pool of over $100,000.
Artists representing all techniques and styles have until February 28, 2025, to register their works online and compete to be one of the 200 finalists in a contest that distributes more than 55,000 € in prizes. Tartget will award prizes in 10 categories, ranging from figurative art to abstract, including conceptual art. Works from Hyperrealism to Impressionism, Surrealism, and Abstraction are accepted.
The historic Ateneo de Madrid, just steps from the Prado Museum and the Thyssen Museum, will host the winners’ exhibition, the awards ceremony, and a wide selection of finalists from June 5 to 12, 2025.
ELIGIBILITY / PARTICIPANTS
It is open to painters worldwide. The competition is open to all techniques, styles, and career stages. Submissions are welcomed in figurative, contemporary, abstract, and conceptual styles, as well as traditional mediums like oil, watercolor, and drawing.
JURY
An Elite International Jury:
Your work will be evaluated by world-renowned masters, including J. Hunsung (South Korea), Dirk Dzimirsky (Germany), Ivan Loginov (Russia), Jean Haines (UK), Jacob Dhein (USA), Don Eddy (USA), and Jason Anderson (UK), among other influential figures.
