Compete Tartget Prize 1st International Painting Contest
Opportunity Description
International Deadline: February 28, 2025 – The first edition of the Tartget Prize has been announced, marking one of the most significant competitions on the international scene. This painting contest bursts onto the scene featuring all the hallmarks of a first-class cultural event: an unparalleled volume of prizes, maximum accessibility for participants, an exceptional and influential jury from five continents, and the spotlight provided by the final exhibition in one of the great art cities, Madrid.
Artists representing all techniques and styles have until February 28, 2025, to register their works online and compete to be one of the 200 finalists in a contest that distributes more than 55,000 € in prizes. Tartget will award prizes in 10 categories, ranging from figurative art to abstract, including conceptual art. Works from Hyperrealism to Impressionism, Surrealism, and Abstraction are accepted.
The historic Ateneo de Madrid, just steps from the Prado Museum and the Thyssen Museum, will host the winners’ exhibition, the awards ceremony, and a wide selection of finalists from June 5 to 12, 2025.
ELIGIBILITY / PARTICIPANTS
It is open to painters worldwide, welcoming all techniques and styles across various categories. Tartget will award prizes in 10 categories, ranging from figurative art to abstract, including conceptual art. Works from Hyperrealism to Impressionism, Surrealism, and Abstraction are accepted.
BENEFITS & AWARDS
55,000 € in prizes:
- First prize: 12,000 €
- second prize: 6,000 €
- third prize: 4,000 €
Various acquisition prizes totaling 10,000 €, training, promotion, and fine arts material prizes. In total, more than 50 prizes.
After the selection of the 200 finalists, another panel of physical jurors will determine the winners.
DEADLINES & ENTRY FEES
The deadline for submitting works is February 28, 2025. The registration fee for the contest is 50 € for the first work and 30 € for the second and subsequent works; for those under 25 years, 35 € for the first work and 15 € for the second and subsequent works.
