International Deadline: May 24, 2025 – Calling all Plein Air painters! Yavapai College is looking for artists to apply to Art in the Pines: The 6th Annual Prescott Plein Air Festival, in the beautiful mile-high town of Prescott, Arizona. Come paint the pine forests, boulder-lined highland lakes, and historic architecture of this popular Old West town.
Plein Air Festival Runs: August 27 – 31, 2025.
JUDGE
Dawn Sutherland is a painter of Southwest Landscapes. A teacher in her first life, and a counselor in her second. She began her third life as a painter in 2001. Dawn teaches Landscape Painting at Northern Arizona University. She is represented by Arizona Handmade Gallery in Flagstaff, and Tucson Desert Art Museum’s Four Corners Gallery. Her work is also on display at El Portal Hacienda in Sedona.

SALES
Artists will receive 50 percent of sales of paintings completed during the Festival.
