Compete Art & Human Rights Exhibition

Opportunity Description
International Deadline: April 1, 2023 – Emergent Art Space (EAS) is issuing an international ‘Call for Art’ for a virtual and live exhibition that will feature the work of young artists responding to the theme of Art & Human Rights.
EAS believes that the arts are a powerful tool for communication, understanding and connection—making a difference in a world filled with tension and strife. We are offering an exhibition opportunity and platform for young artists to creatively address issues of human rights and peril in our current time.
When & Where: May 29 – June 10, 2023
- Virtual Exhibition via Emergent Art Space Website – Up to 30 artists’ artworks will be selected.
- Live Exhibition at the University of Concordia in Montreal, Canada – Up to 6 artists will also be invited to ship and show their physical work at this site, as part of a larger exhibition; a video of the virtual show will also have a presence at the live exhibition.
ELIGIBILITY
Young artists from around the world ages 18-35.

Founded in 2012, Emergent Art Space is an international non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California. We welcome artists in all fields of visual arts, still in school or under 30.
