Art Calls Aperture: Current Approaches to Photography
Opportunity Description
U.S. National Deadline: June 16, 2025 – Artlink is now accepting entries for Aperture, a juried group exhibition exploring current approaches to photography. All photography styles and techniques are accepted, we would love to see everything from traditional to newer experimental approaches.
This exhibition is juried by professional artist and educator, Brent Dedas and will be on view at Artlink from July 31 – August 24, 2025.
ELIGIBILITY
All artists 18+ years of age residing in the United States are eligible. All photography styles and techniques are accepted, everything from traditional to experimental approaches.
All works must be ready for installation upon delivery and professionally presented. Size limit: 48”.
JUROR
Brent Dedas is an Associate Professor of Art at University of South Carolina. He received his Masters of Fine Arts degree along with a Museum Studies Curatorial Certificate from the College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning, University of Cincinnati (D.A.A.P.). ENTRY FEE
$12 per entry, up to 10 entries.
SALES
All artwork sales are subject to a 35% sales fee. Artists will be mailed a check for sold work following the close of the exhibition.
DATES
- Submission deadline: June 16, 2025
- Jurying dates: June 17 – 23, 2025
- Jury notifications: After June 23, 2025
- Accepted artwork drop-off/delivery deadline: July 20 by 5pm
- Exhibition timeline: July 31 – August 24, 2025
