Opportunity Description
International Deadline: December 15, 2025 – The Modern Impressionist Salon is a monthly contest celebrating the brilliance of contemporary impressionist paintings. Through this contest, we hope to bring a greater awareness to impressionist artists of today and their work.
The Modern Impressionist Salon contest will be held this month between November 15th, 2025 to December 15th, 2025.
ELIGIBILITY
This contest is open to all 2d artists internationally. Accepting all 2d paintings in any medium.
JUROR
This Month’s contest is judged by Master Impressionist Artist of the Year Kimball Geisler.
AWARDS
- $10,000 Annual Grand Prize – The Annual Grand Prize winner will be selected from the monthly winners and honorable mentions for all salons preceding July 2026, when the winner will be chosen by a panel of judges.
- First Place: $1000 cash prize, a feature in Salon Winners section of Modern Impressionist Magazine, Social Media Ribbon and promotion on Social Media
- Second Place: $400 cash prize, a feature in Salon Winners section of Modern Impressionist Magazine, Social Media Ribbon and promotion on Social Media
- Third Place: $200 cash prize, a feature in Salon Winners section of Modern Impressionist Magazine, Social Media Ribbon and Promotion on Social Media
- 3 honorable mentions will also be selected
The top 40 pieces will be determined in addition to the award winners, and will be displayed in the Published Shows section of OnlineJuriedShows. The top 40 pieces will be recognized on social media. The top 20 pieces and award winners will be published in the magazine and also featured on social media.
ENTRY FEES
$35 for your first entry, and $20 for each additional entry, up to 15 total entries. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Modern Impressionist Magazine is a bi-monthly print magazine, featuring Modern Impressionist artists and their stories. The magazine is beautifully designed, written and curated to highlight and showcase the masters of this modern movement back to impressionism.
