Opportunity Description
International Deadline: April 28, 2026 – Whether you are an emerging artist seeking a definitive career launchpad or an established professional, the Homiens Art Prize represents a meritocratic and prestigious gateway to significant industry recognition. As a premier international initiative awarding over $12,000 USD in annual unrestricted funding, our non-acquisitive (ownership retained by the artist) prize serves as a catalyst for measurable professional growth.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists globally. Artist representatives may submit on behalf of artists: Artists selected as a winner or finalist will be required to confirm that they agree to our T&C.
We accept all artworks, mediums, and art forms, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, installation, and audiovisual. Artworks completed in any year are eligible. There are no theme or size restrictions.
BENEFITS & AWARDS
- This round, 3 winning artists and 12 finalists will exhibit with Homiens as part of our seasonal exhibition program.
- Each winning artist receives an unrestricted cash award of $1,000 USD, may participate in The Art of Art: Interviews (our artist interview series), and may request a letter of recommendation from our jurors
- Up to 200 artists per round are highly commended and celebrated across our media (including our website which receives 100,000+ annual visitors, and our extensive mailing list).

Further Initiatives: Our prize additionally offers international visibility via exciting features such as our curated Meet the Artists initiative and our Promoted Artists program.
ENTRY FEE
There is a $30 USD fee to enter 1 artwork, and a $20 USD fee to enter each additional artwork thereafter. You may enter as many times as you wish.
Our Early Bird deadline features a special rate which expires on March 31. Entries close 11:59 p.m. ET Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Homiens is an international art gallery by artists, for artists and collectors, which lowers barriers to entry for artists seeking to participate and succeed in the professional art industry. We exist to foster egalitarian, accessible, and democratic support for artists, and to connect collectors with the art that they love. To this end, we offer a year round program including the Homiens Art Prize, and the exhibition of artists in the Homiens gallery. Throughout the year we also publish helpful content to assist both artists and collectors.
