International Deadline: October 31, 2019 – SlowArt Productions presents Emerging Artists 2020, the 28th annual competition for exhibition and Artists of the Decade Award. Open to all artists working in any media. This event is devoted to the discovery, introduction and promotion of Emerging Artists.
On display at the Limner Gallery from March 5 – 28, 2020.
ELIGIBILITY AND RESTRICTIONS
The competition is open to all artists, national and international, working in all media. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
All forms of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital and installation art, video, etc. are eligible. Wall mounted works must not be taller than 96″ no wider than 120″. Sculptural work must fit through a standard height, 36″wide entry door.
Winning artists will be featured in a group exhibition at the Limner Gallery, March 5 – 28, 2020. The exhibition will also be displayed on the Limner Gallery web site and social media sites.
All artist entrants shall be considered for the SlowArt 2020 Artists of the Decade award. The award is for inclusion in a publication of a magazine format catalog of the best artists exhibiting at Limner Gallery from 2010 – 2019.
There is a $35.00 entry fee for one to four artworks entered, presentation is by digital JPG image files.

Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance no later than December 30, 2019.
All works in the show must be for sale. The gallery will take a 35 percent commission on all sales. Sale price is determined by the artist.

Highly regarded SlowArt operates the Limner Gallery, a fine art gallery founded by Slowinski in Manhattans East Village in 1987. SlowArt also publishes the fine art magazine, ‘Direct Art’, distributed to a world wide audience in the fall of each year.
