+ Internet Site:Brooklyn: Shape In all Its Forms

SiteBrooklynBrooklyn, New York, United States

Site:Brooklyn

Opportunity Description

International Deadline: March 15, 2021 – In art, shape is both elusive and omnipresent. It structures our optical world but is often forgotten. Focus on it is often neglected in favor of color, concept, tactility, and subject. This show aims to bring shape to the forefront, to highlight its presence and dynamic interaction with subject matter and other formal considerations.

We are taking Site:Brooklyn online and on the road, with a new series of interactive exhibitions. Our goal remains the same, to connect artists with an expert and diverse set of jurors through the open call format. Our new program focuses on online open call exhibitions, selected by a cast of new jurors, solo artist features, and spotlights. As safety and regulations permit, we aim to host a number of exhibitions around the country.
