Internet Drawing In All Mediums
International Deadline: June 20, 2022 – Drawing is often thought to be something of a modest or even preparatory art-form. With drawing’s rich history, from its relationship, through calligraphy, with writing, to its gestural and abstract potentials, place it at the center of art history. This Site:Brooklyn Gallery exhibition aims to have artists reconceptualize the seemingly solid divisions between the materials and mediums of drawing, to think about drawing both in a traditional sense, but also in novel and unexpected ways.

Site:Brooklyn Gallery is dedicated to exhibiting the current practice of contemporary artists. We are taking Site:Brooklyn online and on the road, with a new series of interactive exhibitions. Our goal remains the same, to connect artists with an expert and diverse set of jurors through the open call format. Our new program focuses on online open call exhibitions, selected by a cast of new jurors, solo artist features, and spotlights. As safety and regulations permit, we aim to host a number of exhibitions around the country.
