Art Calls 2nd Budapest International Art Show

International Deadline: April 15, 2024 – Co-sponsored by TERAVARNA Art Gallery, the much-awaited 2nd Budapest International Art Show (art-BIAS) is back.
The 2nd Budapest International Art Show is a one-of-a-kind exhibition at the Golden Duck Gallery, in downtown Budapest, Hungary. The art fair is to be held from 4th June – 6th July 2024, with the Gala Opening on 7th June. Due to the high foot traffic of visitors during the early European summer months, this timeframe was especially chosen to maximize sales and exposure for our participant artists. More than taking part in the month-long exhibition, the artists will be promoted extensively in local news outlets, TV and media channels, and prizegiving event ceremonies.
Artworks for the fair shall be handpicked by TERAVARNA under a selection round and the best of the show will be awarded with a guaranteed cash prize.
ELIGIBILITY & MEDIA
This is an OPEN CALL to every artist who wants to leave their footprints on the European art scene. The theme of the 2nd Budapest International Art Show is OPEN. Any and all subjects are welcome. All types of visual arts will be considered, including but not limited to Painting & Mixed Media, Photography & Digital, and Sculpture & 3D Installation.
AWARDS
Winning artists from this open call will be invited to participate to show and sell their artworks at the 2nd Budapest Art Exhibition. There are no costs associated with the exhibition.
ENTRY FEE
The entry fee for each artwork is $20 (non-refundable). All the chosen artists shall be eligible to display their artwork during the fair at no extra cost.
