Art Calls KC Art Gallery Exhibition Proposal
Opportunity Description
U.S. National Deadline: December 31, 2028 – Kishwaukee College Art Gallery committee reviews submissions at our monthly meetings. If we are interested in your proposal we will reach out to you about possible exhibition dates. KC Art Gallery is open to both solo and group thematic shows and pairing an artist and their work with another artist for an exhibition. We welcome both art and artifact exhibitions.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to artists who are able to meet the following conditions: Artists/exhibitors/curators will be financially responsible for transporting work to and from the gallery, and work should come ready to be hung or installed. There is no funding for exhibitions, so exhibitors will need to pay/arrange for transportation/shipping of work they plan to exhibit; however, there may be opportunities for paid artist lectures and/or workshops.
VENUE
Our gallery is free and open to the public and all are welcome. We do not have a gallery attendant, but we do have art gallery staff adjacent to the exhibition space. Our Campus is located about 1.5 hours West of Chicago.
We have a Gallery team that will install the work, or work with the artist to install their work. Please e-mail Art Gallery Committee Chair: Prof. Miles Halpern (mhalpern@kish.edu) of the Art Department and/or Dean Judson Curry (jcurry2@kish.edu) for assistance if you have questions.
